Fashion brand POESIE (designer: AKIRA NAKA)'s latest collection will be presented in gallery ROCKET in the style of installation, as a part of JFW designer group show in Tokyo Midtown in March 2008. At NAKA's show at Festival International de Mode a Hyeres (FRANCE) 2005, his new approach to clothes using his special technique of gradation of material was passionately welcomed. That creation will be presented for the first time in Japan in this exhibition.

Akira Naka
Naka began to study fashion and design after meeting a tailor while studying abroad in America. While attending Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts Belgium. He participated in the HYERE International Festival(Festival International de Mode a Hyeres). Afterwards, he studied under a knit designer in Antwerp, before starting POESIE in 2007.
